This Cookie Policy explains how Rezon.IO (“Rezon”, “we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you use https://rezon.io and related services.
1. Who We Are
Rezon.IO is operated by Oleg Knyaginin, established in Bulgaria.

2. What Cookies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Cookies help websites function, remember preferences, and understand how services are used.
We may also use similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels, and SDKs) for comparable purposes. For simplicity, we refer to these collectively as “cookies” in this Policy.
3. Why We Use Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Essential functionality: account login, session continuity, security checks, fraud prevention, and core site operations.
Preferences: storing language, UI, and other service preferences.
Performance and analytics: understanding usage patterns, diagnosing issues, and improving reliability and user experience.
Fraud and abuse prevention: protecting accounts and platform integrity (for example, rate-limiting and bot detection).
Service communications and account flows: supporting sign-in verification, password reset, and related account actions.
4. Categories of Cookies We May Use
Depending on your configuration and how you use Rezon, cookies may include:
4.1 Strictly necessary cookies
These are required for the Service to work (for example, authentication, security, and basic navigation). If you disable these cookies, parts of the Service may not function properly.
4.2 Preference cookies
These remember settings such as language and UI preferences.
4.3 Analytics / performance cookies
When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 only with your permission to understand visits to our public marketing pages and whether visitors start creating a poll. You can use Rezon without accepting analytics. We do not load Google Analytics or send it measurements before you allow it.
This measurement covers visitors who are not signed in, on the English and Spanish home page, how-to page, use-case index and six use-case guides. It does not run on Fun pages, embedded polls, voting or results pages, the poll editor, login pages or pages viewed while signed in.
Google receives browser and session identifiers, device/browser information and network information, including your IP address to derive approximate location. Our events describe the public page, language, selected use case, clicks to create a poll and successful creation from selected presets. Where available, we include a recognised search or social source without its page address. These data are pseudonymous, not anonymous.
We do not send poll or candidate content, votes, segment answers, private notes, form contents, email addresses or Rezon account identifiers to Analytics. Our event URLs exclude query strings and fragments. Google signals, advertising personalisation and user-provided data collection are disabled for this integration.
Browser storage and retention
_ga, _ga_RR4ZGYH5EV: These first-party Google Analytics cookies distinguish browsers and sessions. We configure a 180-day lifetime without renewing the expiry on each visit. Your browser may remove or limit them sooner.
rezon.analytics-
consent.v1: This localStorage entry remembers your analytics choice and when you made it, including a refusal. We honour it for 180 days, then ask again on a measured page. The expired entry is ignored, but can remain in browser storage until replaced or cleared. It is not sent to Google.
In Google Analytics, user-level and event-level retention is set to 14 months, with renewal on new user activity switched off. Google removes expired data in its monthly deletion process. This setting does not apply to standard aggregated reports and is separate from the browser storage periods above.
Change your choice
Open Analytics preferences and choose Decline analytics to withdraw permission. This stops new collection through this integration and clears its Analytics cookies in this browser. If the Google tag is already running, the page reloads to unload it. Your choice applies to this browser and site address, not automatically to other browsers or devices.
Withdrawal does not automatically delete data already received by Google; measurements collected before withdrawal may finish sending. For requests about previously collected personal data, contact support@rezon.io using the details and rights described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Types of Cookies
5.1 Session cookies
Temporary cookies that are removed when you close your browser. They are typically used for login sessions and secure navigation.
5.2 Persistent cookies
Cookies that remain on your device for a defined period (or until deleted) and help remember preferences across visits.
6. Third-Party Cookies and Technologies
Some features rely on trusted third parties. These providers may place cookies or use similar technologies when you use their integrations. Depending on your usage, this may include:
Payment providers (for example, Stripe) for checkout and billing flows.
Social sign-in providers (for example, Google, Meta/Facebook, and VKontakte) when you choose OAuth login.
Infrastructure, security, and analytics vendors that support Service operation and protection.
Third-party cookies and similar technologies are governed by the respective third party’s privacy and cookie policies.
7. How to Control Cookies
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies. Browser controls vary by provider.
Please note:
Disabling strictly necessary cookies may affect login, security checks, and other core features.
If you delete cookies, you may need to re-enter preferences (such as language) and re-authenticate.
Where we provide a cookie consent banner or settings tool, you can also use it to manage non-essential cookies.
8. Retention
Cookie lifetimes vary. Session cookies expire when the browser session ends. Persistent cookies remain for a defined period unless removed earlier by you or overwritten by updated settings.
